Section 1 — Who We Are

VertMento is a personal and family health companion web app developed and operated by DashCraftCo, an independent creator studio. Contact: support@dashcraftco.com

Section 2 — What Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide: account details (name or alias, email, hashed password), care profile data (names or nicknames, birthdays, health conditions, medications, vaccines, appointments, vitals, weight, meals, routines, expenses, wellness milestones), payment details processed by Creem (we never store card numbers).

b. Information Collected Automatically: usage data, browser/device info, IP address and approximate location (country/region only).

c. AI Assistant Inputs: messages sent to the AI Health Assistant are processed by Google Gemini via Lovable Cloud. We do not store AI conversation history beyond the current session.

VertMento is designed as a practical memory and tracking aid — to help you and your carers remember and organize health-related information, not as a repository for sensitive records. You are encouraged to use nicknames, aliases, or initials for profile names rather than full legal names. Avoid entering information you would not be comfortable storing in a third-party cloud app. VertMento is not a medical records system and should not be treated as one.

Section 3 — How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the app. To personalize your experience. To send service-related emails. To process payments through Creem. To analyze usage patterns and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal data.

Section 4 — Data Sharing

We share data only with: Creem (payment processing, PCI-compliant), Google Gemini / Lovable Cloud (AI assistant processing), Supabase Singapore region (database hosting), Namecheap Private Email (email delivery). All processors are contractually bound to protect your data.

Section 5 — Health Information

Health data is stored securely in Supabase (Singapore region), accessible only to you and family members you explicitly invite. It is never shared with insurers, employers, or healthcare providers without your explicit consent. VertMento is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. VertMento is intended as a practical tracking and reminder tool — not a clinical system or secure medical records vault. Users are encouraged to exercise their own judgment about what information they choose to store.

Section 6 — Family Sharing

When you invite a family member to a Care Profile, they gain access to health data for that profile. You are responsible for ensuring invited members have consented.

Section 7 — Children's Privacy

VertMento is not directed at children under 13. Parents adding a child's health data do so as the account holder and consent on the child's behalf.

Section 8 — Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion, data is removed within 30 days. Billing records may be retained up to 7 years for legal compliance.

Section 9 — Your Rights

You may access, correct, delete, or download your data. To exercise these rights, email support@dashcraftco.com.

Section 10 — Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure. Because VertMento is a personal tracking tool and not a certified medical records system, we strongly encourage users to avoid storing highly sensitive clinical documents or information that carries significant risk if exposed.

Section 11 — Cookies

We use essential cookies only for session management and authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Section 12 — Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email and in-app notice at least 7 days before material changes.
